SCS Enters a New Phase of Growth
SCS, a global security and crisis management company, has announced the acquisition of Emuna Risk Management, an established security and risk management company with a significant presence in Mexico and across Latin America.
Emuna has spent more than 15 years building its operation around local expertise, strong industry standards, and an understanding of the region’s security environment. Those qualities made the company a natural fit for SCS as it continues to expand internationally.
Through the acquisition, SCS gains an established operation in Mexico, including security licences, armed protection capabilities, comprehensive insurance coverage, and a fleet of standard and armoured vehicles, supported by experienced local teams.
From Canada to Mexico
The acquisition is the latest step in a period of growth for SCS. In 2025, the company expanded into Canada, establishing an operational presence in Toronto and adding another market to its growing international network.
That expansion has now been followed by its move into Mexico, giving SCS a stronger presence across North America and a well-established base from which to support clients throughout Latin America.
Rather than building each new market from the ground up, the company’s approach has been to combine its international standards with people and teams who understand the realities of working locally.
