The Security & Intelligence Team supports our and studio functions globally. This Los Angeles-based role will lead the Production Security discipline in UCAN and report to the Director, Security & Intelligence. Partnering with Physical Production, Content Security, Post Production, Business and Legal Affairs, and Content, the role will be instrumental in leading risk assessment and security design in a dynamic and exciting region.
Responsibilities:

- Refine and lead the strategy for production security in the UCAN region in alignment with assessed risk and business objectives
- Lead the development/review of risk assessments, security plans, vendor management, coordination of local support, and incident response
- Develop and communicate specialized guidance for higher-profile/risk production activities, IP, and locations
- Utilize forward-looking analysis of dynamic global, regional, and local security events/trends to keep UCAN production operations resilient
- Collect and analyze local intelligence and risk signals to support production planning and security design
- Lead relationship management with relevant Local/State/Federal law enforcement, emergency response, and trusted security networks
- Brief a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on security plans and impactful developments
Qualifications:

- 8-12 years of relevant experience, which can include security, intelligence, military, media production, or NGO
- Advanced degree in relevant subject matter preferred
- Experience with production, talent relations, or content creation
- Strong written and oral communication
Ability to:

- Interpret regional security signals and data, and conduct risk assessments
- Maintain an awareness of risk trends affecting global entertainment sector
- Communicate relevant analysis and forecasting to key stakeholders
- Interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Travel regionally (approximately 25%-50%) and internationally as required
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $160,000 – $360,000.
